I never cease to be amazed at the how involved our students are and what they are capable of doing, both in and outside of the classroom. Their involvement makes our school and our communities better places.
Finally I want to thank Lillian and Larry Justice for the personal momentos of their son, James, that they brought in to be displayed along with the Remembering Our Fallen exhibit last week. I think everyone who viewed the exhibit, students and adults alike, were deeply moved. And the personal connections to our school and community made evident by James's flag, family picture, and scrapbook really brought home the idea that the people who have died in combat since 9/11/01 are sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, fathers and mothers, and members of communities both big and small. Thank you also to Brad Vollstedt and Home Mutual Insurance Association for sponsorship of the exhibit.
