As part of our commitment to eBoot Camp our school is participating in a Speak Up survey, a national online research project facilitated by Project Tomorrow®, giving individuals the opportunity to share their viewpoints about key educational issues. Each year, findings are summarized and shared with national and state policy makers. Participating schools and districts can access their data online, free-of-charge.
We are asking IKM-Manning parents to participate in this survey. A link to the survey can be found on our school website or simply type this URL in to your internet browser: http://www.speakup4schools.org/speakup2012/default.aspx
Once you are at the Speak Up survey homepage look for a blue box with the text "Parents enter here to take the survey." You'll have to find our school by choosing Iowa and searching for IKM-Manning in a pulldown menu. Once you've entered you simply choose the building your child attends and you'll be taken to the survey. It's relatively short, only 29 questions, so I hope a large number of parents will take the time to complete the survey. If you have children in multiple buildings feel free to complete the survey for as many buildings as you have children in. Your participation will help our school gather data to evaluate the current status of technology in our school and set our goals and priorities for the future. The survey must be completed by December 21 which is the last day of our first semester. Thanks in advance for your participation in this important survey.
